Katerina Tsempeli has studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts, Athens, under professors Panagiotis Tetsis and Nikos Kessanlis and is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts.
Currently at the final year of a Master's degree in "Graphic Arts - Multimedia" at EAP Open Univercity
She works as Visual Arts educator at Secondary School of Souda since 1997.
Resumed her artistic carreer since 2011 and participates frequently at group exhibitions in Chania, Heraklion, Athens and other cities in Greece.
She has had 3 solo exhibitions:

The Kapodistrias Case, curated by Iris Kritikou, Group Exhibition at Vouleftikon, Nafplio, 6/8 - 2/10/2016
Kapodistrias 1776 - 1831, was a greek diplomat that served as 1st Governor of Greece after its liberation form Turkish occupation, from 1828 - 1831 when he was murdered.
Contrasto, is a compsite work consisting of a cental piece 40x040cm, encausticand acrylics on wood and the exterior one that is 100x0100, mixed media on canvas (drawing with pensil, charcoal, ink, paint, collage and a 3D object).
